And actually it might not be unintentional even from whoever designed the lantern because the photo was taken in a graveyard :)DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13956409908791716009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423072590283895178.post-11737181870153406742009-11-26T18:22:47.497+01:002009-11-26T18:22:47.497+01:00Unintentional, but the "cross" against t...Unintentional, but the "cross" against the blaze evokes in me some Christian allegory. There is an English Wikipedia article about it. I haven't been there, the farthest north I've been was Kiruna and that was way back when I was 12-13 years old, and in the summer.DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13956409908791716009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423072590283895178.post-26066213546105711142009-11-25T16:30:18.576+01:002009-11-25T16:30:18.576+01:00This reminds me of something I saw on the Internet...This reminds me of something I saw on the Internet yesterday. There is a "hotel"...I sue the term loosely...in Finland that has separate rooms built right into the snow. They are glass Igloos. The only thing in each igloo are two beds. This location in Finland is far enough north that Northern Lights are consistent during the season. The idea is to rent a "room" and spend the night laying in the beds looking up through the glass and watch the northern lights. There was a night shot of rows upon rows of glass igloos light with light similar to the warm glow of your image...it was beautiful.

DanDan Felsteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04917775645881312007noreply@blogger.com
