Yew Berries

In most of the yew hedges I have seen, there have only been a few berries, well hidden...
The other day, suddenly, I found abundance of them in one place!

Neat Picture Dawn Treader...curious how the berries have almost a triangle indentation!

Yes. Lately, almost always taking my camera with me when I go out, my eye has been drawn to a lot of details I never quite noticed before. I had to look up and check recently what this plant was. Most of the yew bushes I've seen have been in neatly cut hedges, and just a few single berries deep within. This one had been left uncut and sort of growing "wild" (although in town).

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.
