While over the last 12 days I've been showing Calendar pictures looking back through 2009, the new year has started with really cold weather and lots of snow all over Sweden. Around where I live, this is the coldest winter we've had since 1987.

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Thanks. Although I'm not particularly fond of the extreme cold we've been having I'm glad for several reasons that it hasn't been too windy. From photo point of view: because the snow has stayed on the branches of trees and bushes, that makes more interesting pictures than just bare branches ;)
The picture captures enough of the cold to make me want to go and put on a pair of socks. Brrr...
Beautiful...this would make a great January Calendar picture for 2010!
