DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Dawn Treader...your photos are beginning to look colder and colder but I guess it IS that time of year!

Dan, we haven't actually had all that many days of frost yet in the southern part of the country. But it's inevitably the DARKEST time of the year. On days when the sun doesn't even show its face, it's hardly worth while taking the camera out this time of year.
our temp is rapidly approaching 80 today, but when i viewed your photo today, I felt the CHILL! love it
I have to agree, this photo looks COLD; just looking at it makes me want to curl up under plush blankets with a warm drink. Another great photo with great effect!
