Tuesday Blue: Early Morning Moon

This picture of the full moon was taken on a frosty December morning last week.

There is the moon! This is probably the same full moon that I took and posted on my blog...it was around the same time of the month. Nice picture...look cold!

It does look cold!

a true blue moon. I have tried often to get a shot of the moon, it never comes out very good. this one is very good. Our moon is far south of us and from my yard the trees get in the way. thanks

This is a nice moon shot. My camera is too weak to do justice to the moon. I'm only slightly jealous. ;-)

Isn't a blue moon the second full moon in the month?

Sheri, I did not know that, but looking it up now it seems you're right. I suppose that is why you have the saying "once in a blue moon" for things that happen only rarely...!

DawnTreader's Picture Book

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.
