DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Dawn Treader...as they say in the Midwest...I AM IN HOG HEAVEN"! The photos are gorgeous. I have not been on the blogs as much lately ... I am substitute teaching for English and French this year...just to give it a try. It is not full time so I still have time to photograph. Anyway, I can't believe I missed this ...I can see you have had it up since the beginning of September.
Dawn Treader...you have come so far and I am proud of you. Just look back at some of the pics early on and compare them to your latest ones...they really are nice. I excited to see the Season of Sweden.

Dan, I'm proud to have you as my first commenting visitor on this blog! (You've been a great source of inspiration and encouragement to me, you know!)
It was really only a day or two ago that I put the link up in the sidebar of my main blog; and I have not even mentioned the idea anywhere until today's post. So the only place it has been visible before now has been in my profile (which I don't expect people who already "follow" me to scrutinize very frequently!) I wanted some time to experiment with the layout etc first.
I wish you good luck with your teaching! :)
The rose hips are small but they add tremendously to the shot.
