DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

In my life i did not see an apple tree...really i like to see that in real.........
Man...I have missed a lot on your blog! I have substitute taught English in the local High schools for a few days and have gotten behind on my blog visiting. I am glad to finally get my "fix"!
I really like your couple of photographs with the blurred vignettes around the edges. and the apple tree cropped make for a very interesting image. Hope all is going well...no little 3 foot visitors thorugh an open bedroom window at night ....yet!

Dan - thank you. Yes, I've started to experiment a little with some of those effects in Picasa on some pictures...
Perhaps better check under your bed before you go to sleep! Btw, I hope you don't mind, but I deleted that ufo comment of yours on another post here, after answering it by email. It just seemed so out-of-context here all by itself.
One of these days, I'll show you a very different kind of strange object that sort of turned up out of the blue on one of my walks recently... and then disappeared out of sight again... Now I'm teasing you - it was really quite different from yours... But I'll let you know when I get round to posting those pics! ;)
NPT - I bet you've seen a lot of other trees that I have not...!
