Gate to the Past

Nice! I like the angle on this one, Monica. Have you scrolled down while looking at it...you can almost fill yourself flowing downward :)

Dawn Treader...the date reminds me that in the U.S...anything older that in the 1800's believe it or not is considered very very old. We yanks think of ourselves as being around forever but our history is only a "speck" when compared to your country ...I am humbled.

I agree that the angle is great! Another interesting shot.

Thank you all!

The gate leads OUT of an old graveyard (the year is on the inside of the gate which I find rather interesting).

Yes Dan we do have some history... You have the Indians though - and I know you don't forget because you posted about them just recently! - but of course they didn't leave iron gates with dates behind... ;)

DawnTreader's Picture Book

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.
