DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.
YOU WILL ALSO FIND ME HERE:

hello DawnTreader!
i'm new here and happy to be a follower. i love picture books and have never outgrown them! now that is an interesting Christmas tree, indeed! hahaha! i usually start my general cleaning just about this time, before advent, which is a special season here in the Philippines! i'll be posting something on Christmas in my country before the first Sunday of advent.i do love CS Lewis too.
I do a lot of re-reading his works!
thanks very much for your beautiful blog! go gently through life...warm smiles...

Dawn Treader...if this wasn't such a true reflection of our times it would be hilarious! Great capture...it does sort of put one in the "cleaning" mood!

Hello Weena. Always nice to meet another admirer of C.S. Lewis! :) I'll try to remember to look in at your blog around 1st Advent and learn about your traditions, too.
Dan, with me too this tree caused double feelings. They have made it a sort of a theme at the supermarket this year... Every department has its own tree and decorated accordingly. CDs for example actually make quite pretty decorations (very shiny)... ;) This one with the dish-brushes though was a bit too much for me... Having the camera in my bag, taking a photo seemed to be the only proper reaction! :D
Dawn Treader...for sure I would have pulled out my camera as well!
Dan
Wowzers. I agree that they're overdoing it, but what a good shot!
Comedy is one of life's small pleasures. Thanks for sharing this image. (I think my supermarket would have featured sanitizers (squirt bottles, hand wipes, sprays, etc.). Flu-phobia on display instead of simple brushes. That's what I'm thinking. ;-)
