Hey Dawn Treader Congrats! Did you see that you are blog of the week at "356 to 42"! I would consider that a great honor...Brett is a great photographer!
Thanks to all Mosaic Monday visitors for your comments! I'm afraid I got in rather late with my post and then 'things' happened so I didn't have time to go look at many others either.
@ Dan, yes, I received a message from Brett yesterday and I have picked up the award and put it on my list here + I also acknowledged it in a post over at the Island of Voices. Since I've never come across Brett before, this was a 'first' for me - being given an award by someone I did not know! I do feel honoured, and I'm certainly going to return to his blog(s) - just first glimpse of his photos made me curious to see more.
Fab photos! I especially adore the one of the feather, so delicate and yet trapped between the stones. What a perfect moment to capture. GREAT colors, too. thanks! Cass
The amazing thing about going out with the purpose to take photos, is that you actually notice there still is some colour in all the greyness of November.
And then of course... A few processing steps in Paint Shop Pro helps bring it out even more...

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600. For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3. Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Wonderful Autumn mosaic, the colors do blend well together.
