Same church as in yesterday’s post. Look carefully at the window. Part of what you see is the reflection of the view outside (compare the street photo), but at the same time you also see across the church room inside and get a glimpse of another window on the other side of the building. The church is from the 17th century but there was another church in the same spot since medieval times.

That is a great mosaic and such a good idea. Beautiful pictures.
I'm glad you posted more of this beautiful church. I would love to go inside. Yes, I see it!! I see the church window inside on the opposite, and the reflection of those buildings across the street. What a very cool illusion! I'm glad you said what it is and what to look for, I'm not too sharp this time of the morning. I don't think I would have seen such a thing If I were there, I would have missed this fantastic picture opportunity.
the window shot is truly amazing to me. I love windows and doors and when it is an old building like this I really love it. great job on the collage, it tells the whole story. I had to stare at the window photo for a while, it is special. with all your wonderful arctitecure around you, you should do one on doors and windows. I wish I were there to do it with you
The day I took these pictures I had hoped to be able to go inside to take photos; thought it might be open since it was tourist season... but found the door locked. So I just went round the outside. When I've been inside it has been for church services or concerts, and not good occasions to take photos.
Wonderful photos! Church architecture is often so beautiful.
Beautiful church and reflections!
Great mosaic!
Thanks for the photos of this beautiful church. I love the large photo of the arched window.
