From the first snowfall of the year, 22 October.
It started snowing on Thursday night. By Saturday afternoon, it was all gone again.
The pictures taken on Friday by noon. A very short, slow and “careful” walk…

I love the main image. I would have whacked up the red and yellow channels but you have got it right. I always find looking at other peoples work educational. Doesn't mean I won't super saturate mine but it is good to see moderation.
they look like paintings, esepcailly the last one. i just love photos of things like this, not what is ordinary but out of the orninardy caught by the lens of your camera.
About colour saturation... I tried it on the bottom picture but it didn't feel right so I decided against it. I wanted the cold, frosty, slushy feeling that the day actually gave. That snow did not really enhance colours - it threw a wet blanket on them!
Yes, it does look real slippery! Gosh, most of those leaves are still green!
Your frosty images really bring out the feelings of the first wintry morning. Brrr.
Cool photos of the forzen leaves. I am so glad we are having above normal temps right now.
