DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

i just came from Scott and Chads blog and they posted night views to, go to my blog and on side bar look at finding another view. these are amazing, his shows stars and clear sky yours show a different night, lovely to view for sure. in case you wonder where ginny is, she is having a tough few days, she and phil are both sick and doing a lot of extra work for both of them
Oh, Monica, AMAZING!! How did you do it, a flash, no flash? These are just exquisite!
Ginny, I just recently bought a small table tripod and I put the camera on that on the window sill. It certainly makes a difference compared to trying to take night pictures with a hand-held camera. Can't use flash taking pictures through the window...
Great photos, Monica. I'm impressed enough to try some night pictures when I get to Napier. I've not tried that yet.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful. I hope we get snow this winter I love it.
