Back to mild and wet weather again, for as long as it lasts.
The birds who haven’t already left to go south were singing today, almost as if greeting spring. I wish!

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Wll, these pictures are rather bleak, a true portent of winter!!
these are not bleak to me, i love trees without leaves and the first photo shows all their wonderful limbs, the lines are like a painting we would never see if they did not drop their leaves. to me they are beautiful. Of course I am not the one walking outside but am looking at them from my chair.
looks very much where I live also. only our rivers are low this time of year.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like your lens: you see wonder in the ordinary. What a rich tapestry!
Lovely photos, the bare branches of trees have their own special beauty.
