Experimental Photo Art
Freshly fallen snow on the spirals of a high chimney created some interesting effects. It got even more interesting when experimenting with multiple collage frames in Picasa...
The snow outside has been making everything look the same for weeks and weeks now. It is challenge to find other ways to at least vary the photos!
@ Sandra: What I did with this one is I took the single picture (after cropping etc) and used the collage function in Picasa, with the option to use the picture itself for border.
Then I took that picture, and did the same procedure over again.
Then I added a black border; and, because the background on this blog is black, on top of that a whitish/grey one for contrast.
Simple; but does not work out as well with any picture. That's where the "experimental" comes in...

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600. For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3. Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Very nice, and I don't often find enhanced photos to be improved... but this treatment works for me. Very nice indeed.
Thank you all.
