For Easter, we decorate branches with colourful feathers, and sometimes other decorations too. Read more about it in yesterday's post at my other blog, The Island of the Voices.
Our name for daffodil is "Easter Lily" (påsklilja) and we usually have some of those on the table as well.

Dawn Treader, then you set fire to them......Right!
Never seen this before they really are effective.
I love all the colorful feathers! Another name we have for daffodils is Jonquils, but our easter lilly is a different kind, totally white.

I am really enjoying your Easter trees and feather trees, it is all so colorful and something I have never seen before, not even in pictures. thanks for sharing it with us.
Dawn Treader...i am finally getting a chance to catch up...actually I am teaching right now but the students are watching a movie!
The feathers on branches is something completely new to me...what a great idea!
Have a very Happy Easter if I don't talk to you.

Adrian - The bonfires are a separate thing on Easter Eve, they are usually huge. The decoration branches with feathers are kept indoors throughout the weekend (and perhaps a little longer).
How long they will keep the big tree in the square up remains to be seen - I do hope nobody tries to set fire to that...!
