pretty cool! it's gorgeous. I see a lot of people having some straws on their bulbs, does it help with moisture or something? I think the blue flowers are so unique.

bring on your mosaics, I love all of them. you do such a great job picking which photos to go with each other and look stunning. keep mosaicing... ha ha

Thanks all for your comments.
Self Sagacity - These flowers actually grew in the wild although I think they are runaway garden flowers rather than properly wild. But the straw in this case is last year's grass.

Ginny - when making collages in Picasa there is an alternative to use one of the pictures as background border. I'm not sure if the programme chooses the picture randomly or if it always takes the first one you pin to make the collage. Anyway there is a bit of luck involved how it turns out. I experiment a lot - if I like it I keep it, otherwise I try something else.

Dawn Treader...I was just going to ask a question but I think you answered it in your comments above. You said it is last years straw so I take it these flowers are from this year? If so..yo all are making some good progress towards Spring...I think you have seen the worst of the cold tmeps for a while.

I also saw your images of the stairs and footbridge...wow that is one humongeous (fake word) structure. And I like the bee houses as well as long as I don't have to get close to them.

Yes Dan - spring is definitely on its way. We still have some cold nights and the trees are not yet blossoming, but it won't be too long now.

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.
