As for what kind of animal, I’m puzzled.
It seemed quite small to me, so rabbit or hare was what first came to mind.
But not at all sure about that; and even less so after comparing pictures on the web.
Any wildlife forensic experts out there in the cyberspace…?

a very strange skull, no idea what it could be. I love the post and I like the suspense... good job. I like the path where it looks like a tree fell across the path and they just sawed a path through it and left it there. love that shot. beautiful place to walk. choo choo coming
