For some reason I'm having problems uploading photos to this blog today. So far I haven't been able to figure out why. This morning I thought the problem was with Windows Live Writer, but it seems to be the same when I try it directly in Blogger. It seems I can't upload photos neither from the computer nor from the Picasa Web Album.
I was able to upload a post from WLW without problems to my other blog, The Island of the Voices.
Now I'm going to post this without picture just to see if that works.

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

the blog is working. when this happened to me it was because my Picasa web site was full and i had to purchase more gigs.
Not working here. No Photos. I pre edit mine and use Live Writer to compose in. Matron had a similar problem and it solved it for her. Look at my other blog and if you have problems e-mail me. It is a WYSIWYG programme and is free.Don't download it all just Live writer. Takes a bit of work to discard what you will never use but Bill gates who made all this possible is now giving us a hell of a lot back. he gave us a good platform in the first place. Have fun and any specific problems let me know.
Oh gosh, isn't this frustrating? Maybe it's just a temporary thing and it will be fine in a day. Sandra did have the same thing happen, check out how much space you have left for pictures. They only give you so much and then you have to pay for more. But it doesn't cost much at all.
it was acting a little weird last night while I was posting some things. probably will be fixed shortly.
Thanks everyone. Today things seem to be working again, so as I suspected it must have been a Blogger problem. I just wish they'd be better at posting messages about problems like this on their Known Issues page. I would save users from a lot of needless worry.
