DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

what is a town allotment? is this maintained by the city or ?? love all the colors and who doesn't just love flowers and summer?
What a beautiful patch of flowers! I bet there lots of bees and butterflies in there, a photographer's dream!!
The definition of allotment:
Brit. a small piece of usually public land rented by an individual for cultivation
Most allotment areas are on the outskirts of town (countryside environment). This one stands out because it is the only one of its kind in a tenement housing estate in a town environment.
I'm not sure who is maintaining it, if it is one individual or a group of neighbours.
what a wonderful idea, the allotment I mean, and whomever has this one is doing a spectacular job of it. that would be a good thing here for veggie gardens
