Oh, how wonderful! I love the way you've done the borders! We have a small forsythia in our front yard, and my husband adores it! It is is a real treat for the eyes. So cheerful for me on this rainy day with a floodwatch.
Mersad, as for your comment about the borders I think I see what you mean, but using Picasa I don't have control over details like that. I can either use a separate colour as frame, or I can let Picasa choose one of the pictures used in the collage as frame. But I can't alter the brightness of just the background photo.

For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600. For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3. Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Interesting composition. I'd only brighten the background and make it more white. It will still hold the flowers and make a nice border element!
Beautiful mosaic!!

Yes Dawntreader! It is a fantastic forsythia-season here in Sweden this year. Lovely mosaic.
what a wonderful tree, bright yellow and it makes me think of sunshine. love the mosaic
Lovely, just lovely. I have never used a photo as the background for a mosaic. Great idea!
Hope you have a beautiful day!
What a glorious tree of blossoms! It must be like golden raindrops when the wind blows and they sail about - lovely!

Bonjour,
Olivia Kroth
Thankyou & Merci to all of you!
