The school holidays started last weekend. Still a little chilly to be going in for a swim.
But just going down to the lake and have a look is a beginning…

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

I love the wide open sky and the dazzling waters of the first shot. My kids swam in the sea near Stockholm last weekend - only about 15 C, but they loved it!

What a lovely representation of summer!!! And that first big picture is just stunning, I want to jump into it! All the beautiful blues, you got that shot from just the right angle!!
Summer is wonderful. School isn't out yet here. Still a week to go.
