We have a promenade along the river. The facade of the building on the other side used to be rather boring, but in connection with the sculpture festival this year it has been made more interesting with another piece of art installation using mirrors organized in imitation of a barcode.
The photographer (i.e. me) facing one of the mirrors,
with the reflection of the park on the other side of the river in the background.
Photo taken from across the river. You can still see me in the mirror!
Military Music Parade walking down the Promenade.
More of the parade can be seen here (blog post from 31 May).

Monica, this would REALLY like to see, what super idea. it's beautiful and so is the ME in the Mirror. great shots.
i have been gone all day and am headed to a lay down, more later.
Love your pretty lilac header. That building looks like no one has done anything to it, I would not have noticed the bar code resemblance if you didn't tell us! How on earth did they manage to make that whole thing and then fit in onto the side of the building, while making the building look not messed with?? I'm continuing to enjoy the round buildings you have there. Is there something special with Sweden and round buildings?
I have to confess I don't even remember what the wall looked like before they put these things up. I suppose it has been put up piece by piece, separate pillars with mirrors in between. And I wouldn't have thought of the bar code either if it hadn't been in the name of the artwork.
As for round buildings you notice more than I do. The rounded top of the building above the mirror-wall is a parking house. I don't think we have any building that is completely circular even if there are some of partly rounded shape (like a tower or an entrance or a rounded corner).
nice to see you!! those mirrors are great and lots of fun to take shots of, I bet. ??
