DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Extraordnary!!! Love both of them. the cottage hiding in the beauty of the flowers and the road leading to it. really like these a LOT
Ohhhh! I love these collages! You can NEVER have too many lilacs! These may be the first collages I've seen that sort of tell a story, and aren't just kind of ramdom pictures. Your title is fitting. Does the path lead to the little house or is it two different places? I bet you can even smell them from inside.
(Erasing comment because of "spillchucker" problems... Here is the corrected version:)
Ginny: My collages are NEVER random - and ALWAYS random... ;) (trying to sound mysterious here)... I.e. there is usually quite a lot of thought behind the choice of pictures; then there is the random element because I use Picasa to put them together (and that basically means pressing a button and see what happens); but then there is thought again, because I play around a lot, including and excluding pictures, juggling them around, and changing format and frames etc until I get a result that I like.
In real life the house is on one side of the lilac hedge; the road is on the other side. I.e. the road does not lead up to the house but runs past it. And the house is not so little...
The smell of your beautiful lilacs must be intoxicating. I wish I could smell them from here!
