A walk by the lake with my brother and his dog, a couple of weeks ago.
The lake is close to where our paternal grandparents lived when we were young, which is also where our dad lives now.

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

sweet little dog. beautiful lake and you are blessed to spend time with your brother. mine lives 10 hour drive away, so i don't see him very much. I assume you got to spend time with dad also?

That little dog is adorable!
I can't imagine not living in the proximity of water. I've always lived reasonably near the sea (or the tidal estuary of a major river) but a lake like that would suffice!
GB, I sometimes think when I visit this lake that it does remind me slightly of a Scottish loch...!
Sandra, Ginny... The dog belongs to my brother and is a cairn terrier. Sweet dog but not really easy to get good pictures of, he seems usually to turn his back on me...!
