In the lake below the museum park with the old buildings, there is a bird sanctuary.

DawnTreader's Picture Book
For this blog, I have chosen a template that allows me to show pictures as big as possible . Some of the things you usually find in the sidebar, you will find here at the bottom of the page instead - Blog Archive, Followers etc.
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4600.
For basic editing of most photos and collages I use Picasa 3.
Sometimes I also experiment with some more "artistic" effects in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Great pics.....
Great pictures, and I love the big orange legs and feet of that goose! Did they honk at you for snapping them? They seem rather tame.
beautiful place for the birds and for you. i am wondering what that red half submerged building is. do you know what it is? did i tell you i am afraid of geese?
The buildings I assume are for the more exotic birds that aren't quite adapted to our winter climate. The buildings are fenced in or on little islands out in the lake, you can't get close to them. Some birds are fenced in and others come and go as they please.
